Bunda College visit

Students from Bunda college of agriculture in the faculty of Extension and Horticulture visited our demonstration farm to learn more on how we offer extension services to farmers, how we conduct our practical trainings and how is permaculture done at a large scale and for profit. The students were very exited to see all the learnt in class being practically implement on the farm. To them the thought that Permaculture focuses on natural medicine and can not work for large scale business set up. The tour opened their eyes that they can also take permaculture as a full time job after graduating considering the fact that there are alot of students struggling to find jobs because they only depend on organizations to employ them. The saw a very good example from the founders of Permaculture Paradise Institute.

FAMILY TOUR FROM DWANGWA

This is a package we have launched for families that would like to come and be initiated in Permaculture together. This is a very important tour where we as parents we prepare our children to be responsible and patriot citizens of their nation. This is how we can facilitate intergenerational pass on of our ancestoral knowledge from generations to generations. We teach the children them right not wrong while they are still young. We have plenty of children that does not know their heritage and have never seen our own hidden treasure of nature, bring them here for a tour and your family will never be the same.

WEEKEND COUPLES TOUR TODAY

Couples tour at PPI today, this is when we accommodate couples that are pursuing their dreams but realizing that your immediate partner may sometimes be your challenge if you they don’t understand the mission. The idea is to nurture couples in Permaculture design as a family not individuals. It is always paramount to identify core decision makers in a project and you involve them at the very early stage of the project to avoid conflicts and confusion. This remind us of the story that our friend

Kristof Nordin

used to tell us about one of his students who was so over exited after one of the PDC’s he taught. The guy announced in public to set up unti-sweeping campaign after the trainin, but years later he met kristof shaking his head he said I can even convince my wife. It may be so sad to have your partner kill your dream not because they wanted to but because they never understood the idea. Bring your partner’s to PPI for Permaculture babtism and you will never live the same.

Scope Malawi visit our farm

We were greatly honored to be visited by one of the institutions that promote Permaculture in Malawian schools. Permaculture is a design science that allows one to apply it anywhere at any scale, it is about thoughtful observation rather than thoughtless labour. Schools are places with a very great opportunity with alot of human resource to help in the implementation of permaculture designs. We at Permaculture Paradise demonstrate how best one can apply the our examples anywhere in the word. Our demonstration gardens are designed for both schools and farms, we have small scale as well as large scale examples for schools and colleges. Come visit us and be part of the change agents.

Gold gate memorial school visit

Golden gate school is located along Chidzanja road in Biwi Lilongwe district. The learners were brought to PPI to learn Practical applications of Permaculture design. This was a very golden opportunity for the learners as they only had been learning about permaculture in class but had not seen it in application. According to Mirriam Matiga the Principle of the school she said this trip gave the learners to explore permaculture in an different way. The lessons learnt will help the students during their exams said Mirriam. We have learnt so much that we never expected and your lunch was awesome, at first we thought the food was useless only to realize it is so nutritious than we expected one of the students commented.
