On March 23, we had the pleasure of welcoming students from Sunrise Primary School to Paradise for an exciting and educational visit focused on practical permaculture. The young learners, accompanied by their teachers, embarked on a journey to understand sustainable farming, ecosystem balance, and the importance of working harmoniously with nature.

The visit was designed to give students hands-on experience with key permaculture principles, helping them connect classroom knowledge with real-world applications. Throughout the day, they engaged in interactive activities such as soil preparation, composting, water conservation techniques, and companion planting. These activities were not only educational but also fun, allowing the students to develop a deeper appreciation for nature and sustainable living.

One of the highlights of the day was the practical demonstration of composting techniques. The students were amazed to learn how organic waste can be transformed into nutrient-rich soil, promoting a circular and eco-friendly approach to farming. They also got the chance to plant their own vegetables, an experience that instilled in them the value of growing their own food sustainably.

Our team at Paradise was thrilled to see the enthusiasm and curiosity of the students as they explored different aspects of permaculture. We believe that introducing young minds to sustainable practices at an early age can create a lasting impact on their mindset towards the environment and conservation.

We extend our gratitude to the teachers and students of Sunrise Primary School for their active participation and eagerness to learn. Special thanks to our dedicated team who made the visit both informative and enjoyable. We look forward to hosting more schools and communities as we continue to promote sustainable and regenerative agricultural practices.
