The Agro-Ecology Project in Dowa and Ntchisi, implemented in partnership with Norwegian Church Aid-Danish Church Aid (NCA-DCA) and CADECOM, continues to make significant strides towards sustainable agricultural transformation in Malawi.

This initiative aims to promote environmentally friendly farming practices that enhance soil fertility, increase crop productivity, and improve food security for local communities. By integrating agro-ecological principles, the project is empowering farmers with knowledge and practical skills to shift from conventional farming methods to more sustainable and climate-resilient techniques.

Looking Ahead The project remains committed to strengthening local farmers’ capacity and expanding the reach of agro-ecological practices in more communities. With continued support from NCA-DCA and CADECOM, the initiative aims to foster resilience, environmental sustainability, and improved livelihoods among rural farmers in Dowa and Ntchisi.
